While we cannot do much about the changing estrogen, we can control how we manage it. Why mindfulness in midlife? Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present and engaged in the moment. It involves directing our attention purposefully to our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and the environment around us, without judgment. Mindfulness allows us to observe our experiences as they arise, fostering greater awareness and clarity. Research has shown that practicing mindfulness regularly can have a profound impact on our well-being. It can help reduce stress and anxiety, improve focus and concentration, enhance emotional regulation, and cultivate greater resilience in the face of challenges. By incorporating mindfulness into our daily lives, we can experience a greater sense of peace, balance, and overall satisfaction Who is this for? - Women going through menopause transition - Women facing symptoms like lack of concentration, brain fog, memory loss, hot flashes, mood swings and more. *Note* For those undergoing psychotherapy or those with severe cognitive symptoms, please check with your healthcare professional before doing this program. What do you get? Over the next 21 days, we will explore and practice a number of mindfulness exercises that you can easily incorporate into your daily life. Each day you will receive a prompt for an exercise along with an audio input to help you practice. It is recommended that you practice the day’s exercise 4 to 5 times a day. With each reminder you may do a 2 to 5-minute practice. You will also have a journaling prompt to help you reflect, become aware, and internalize any shifts you may experience.
